Prayer is not asking
It is a longing of the soul.
It is daily admission of one's weakness.
It is better in prayer to have a heart without words
 than words without a heart.

~Mahatma Gandhi
~

Prayer is talking to God.
He knows our hearts, therefore,
He understands even our silences.
Even if you do not believe in God
We all think words and feelings.
It is a way of working out our mistakes
and our sadness.
It is our own inner workings,
which no one ever knows
unless we choose to share.

Our worlds are in many ways the same.
We all need the same things to live.
We all need the basics like air, water and food to live.
We all long to be loved and accepted.
We are all human.
Those who believe in God pray
and those who don't will hope or wish for things.
All in a very similar quiet way.
Whether you choose too share your thoughts
with God and believe or not,
He still hears you.
He still loves you.
He still knows your heart and soul.

When you have had a bad day
and you need to talk to someone
and you have no one
remember you always have God.
YOU are NEVER alone.

I often feel so alone in this world.
Finding myself with no one to talk to
about the simple
or sad things happening
in my life or around me.
These times get me frustrated.
We act before we think sometimes.
When I finally realize I am not alone I pray.
I give it to God and let it go.
I ask Him to help me with those issues
and I rest in faith
that he will do what is right in his time.
Not in my time.
I cannot even understand his reasoning,
His how or his when.
I certainly know it will be in a way
I have not thought of...
because in hindsight we all want things done our way.
We must have faith in His decisions.
They will be what HE sees as best for us in the long run

Do you believe in God?
Do you have faith in His words and deeds?
Do you have Hope in your heart?
Do you find happiness in your dreams?
What works for you?

Feel free to leave comments!

Much Love from me to you!

We are called to be strong companions...

and clear mirrors to one another,
to seek those who reflect with compassion
and a keen eye how we are doing,
whether we seem centered or off course ...
we need the nourishing company of others
to create the circle needed for growth,
freedom and healing.
Wayne Muller

 Hello friends,

I chose this quote to start writing again
because it really speaks to my heart.
Reflecting back on life is like a test.
We seem to do this in our mid-life.
We look back upon our lives and rehash mistakes,
pain, things we could have done differently and our joys.
The true test is when we realize the things we did wrong
and are able to change them. We must be able to
critique ourselves in an honest way to do this.
When we lie to ourselves and others we do not grow.
We stay stagnant in a puddle of confusion.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3 verse 23.
None of us are perfect and while we are here on Earth
we will never be perfect. Knowing that,
we must get over ourselves.
There are no do overs only do betters!
We all have the ability to do better.
Notice I never said it would be easy... however, it will be worth it!

One thing I found to help me change for the better is helping others.
In helping others we learn to understand
all things really do happen for a reason.
We see their hurts, mistakes and life through their eyes...
In doing so, we see our own lives differently.
We see how we may be similar.
We see, eventually, that there are more similarities
between other people and ourselves.
It can actually change our view on people in general.
Sometimes I notice that I am able to be a bit kinder to myself
by being compassionate towards others and their needs too.
It teaches me, not only how to be a good friend/companion,
but to be a good caretaker of myself as well.
It IS a win-win situation!
The joy of learning about yourselves and others
will become clearly noticeable
soon after you begin caring for others.

You also gain a friend!
Every person you meet in life might not stay in your life for long,
but they sure will teach you something.
Sometimes good and sometimes bad...
If we begin to see everything in life as a lesson,
it gets easier to understand and to deal with disappointments.
Well, at least that has all helped me...
Maybe it will help you!

Let us reach out to others!
Let us begin to treat others in the manner we wish to be treated!
Let us make a wonderful, peaceful change one person at a time!
God Bless you all!

I think I might miss the beauty and innocence in loving you...
but it has been awhile now since then...
I doubt I could handle it again....
but, I still seem to miss the overwhelming feelings...
of you...
in my heart and soul and in every breath...
every beat of my heart... my dreams... my love... the passion....
the moment is over...
the time has gone...
Alone in the memories I will still carry on....
but still I will miss...
every second of you...
that I kept alive in my being...
the feeling of seeing...
your handsome face...
I cry as I bid it farewell...
although I will never tell...
how empty and lost one can be...
when the love of her life sets her free.......
